Answers on methodology, data handling, and onboarding
Below are the questions we hear most often from finance teams evaluating Gainforthic. If something isn't covered, our contact page routes enquiries to the right desk.
How Gainforthic fits into an existing finance workflow
Gainforthic sits alongside existing treasury and finance systems rather than replacing them. The platform ingests balance and transaction data you authorise, applies risk-weighted analysis, and returns structured recommendations for review — decisions on execution remain with your team at every step.
The questions below cover setup, data security, pricing structure, and the limits of what the platform does and does not do.
Getting started with Gainforthic
Common questions about onboarding, access, and how the platform is introduced to an organisation.
What is Gainforthic and who is it built for?
Gainforthic is an analysis platform for idle or under-allocated capital. It is designed for finance and treasury teams that want a structured, risk-weighted view of where cash is sitting and how it could be reallocated, without taking over execution authority.
How long does onboarding typically take?
Onboarding time depends on the number of accounts connected and internal approval steps on your side. After initial setup, most teams begin seeing analysis output within the first review cycle. A member of our team can walk through a specific timeline during a briefing call.
Do we need to migrate off our existing treasury or accounting system?
No. Gainforthic is designed to run alongside existing systems. It reads authorised data feeds for analysis purposes and does not require replacing your core treasury, ERP, or accounting platform.
Who within our organisation typically uses the platform day to day?
Usage varies by company size, but it's commonly treasury analysts, finance managers, and controllers who review recommendations and track allocation history. Access can be scoped by role so that different team members see only what's relevant to them.
How your data and decisions are handled
Details on encryption, data residency, and how risk-weighting is applied to recommendations.
How is our financial data secured?
Data transmitted to and stored within Gainforthic is protected using AES-256 encryption, both in transit and at rest. Access controls and audit logging are applied at the account level to limit exposure to authorised users only.
Where is our data held, and does it stay within the UK?
Gainforthic maintains UK data residency for client information as part of its standard operating model. Specific storage and processing arrangements can be discussed in more detail during onboarding.
Does Gainforthic make trading or allocation decisions automatically?
No. Gainforthic produces risk-weighted analysis and recommendations for your team to review. Final decisions on whether and how to act on any recommendation remain entirely with your organisation.
How is risk-weighting calculated?
Risk-weighting draws on the account data made available to Gainforthic, applying modelling designed to reflect liquidity needs, exposure limits, and time horizons you define. The exact parameters used can be reviewed and adjusted in consultation with your account contact.
Plans, contracts, and support
What to expect in terms of pricing structure, contract flexibility, and ongoing support.
How is Gainforthic priced?
Pricing is structured around the scope of accounts and analysis volume under review. Specific terms are confirmed directly with each organisation during the briefing process, as requirements vary by size and complexity.
Is there a minimum contract term?
Contract terms are agreed individually and outlined clearly before signing. Details on term length and renewal are covered in our Terms of Service and confirmed during onboarding discussions.
What support is available if we have questions after go-live?
Once live, your team has a point of contact for operational questions regarding the platform. For specific support channels and response expectations, please reach out via our contact page.
Can we request a demonstration before committing?
Yes. You can request a briefing through the "Request Briefing" option in the navigation, where a walkthrough of the platform and its analysis output can be arranged ahead of any commercial discussion.
